Leverlock® Adjustable Paddle Repair Instructions:
How to Assemble the Leverlock® Adjustable Lever, Cable, and Lever Pin
After receiving your Leverlock® Adjustable parts, follow these steps to connect the cable to the lever:
Step 1: Remove the Old Pin
- Use the new pin or a similar-sized tool (nail or small screwdriver)
- Tap it gently with a rubber mallet or small hammer
- This will push the old pin out from the opposite side
- Remove the old pin completely once it slides out
Step 2: Start the New Pin
- Insert the new pin into one side of the lever
- Tap it in halfway so it stays in place
Step 3: Install the Cable
- Position the cable inside the lever groove
- Align the hole in the cable with the pin
Step 4: Secure the Pin
- Continue tapping the pin through the cable hole
- Push it fully into the opposite side of the lever until secure
