Why paddlers love the Starboard GO

The GO is Starboard's friendly, do-everything hard paddle board, and Supconnect named it 2026 Gear of the Year for Best All-Around SUP. The 11'2" x 32" is the size Starboard points first-time buyers to: it glides like a narrower board while staying very stable.

  • Stable from the first stroke: a flat standing area over a concave hull gives you a steady platform for cruising, fitness paddling and SUP yoga.
  • Dry feet: boxy rails keep water from washing over the deck.
  • Easy glide: a deep center channel and flat rocker lengthen the waterline, so each stroke carries you farther.
  • Straight tracking: the fin sits far back, so you switch paddle sides less often.
  • Balanced trim: a wide nose and tail keep the board level and comfortable over distance.
  • Room for gear: a bungee tie-down on the nose holds a dry bag, water bottle or sandals.

ASAP construction: As Strong As Possible

ASAP is the build Starboard makes for boards that get used a lot, which is why we chose it for our fleet.

  • Impact-resistant, high-density EVA wraps the full rail from nose to tail
  • Multiple layers of fiberglass set in epoxy resin around the hull
  • Australian pine under the standing area for stiffness and impact resistance
  • Stringer bands plus reinforced rails and nose for extra rigidity
  • US center fin box and mast track, so the board can also be used for SUP windsurfing and winging (center fin sold separately)
